Detectors for high energy physics

piram.GIF (40086 bytes)The unique physics capability of crystal calorimetry is the result of its superb energy resolution, hermetic coverage and fine granularity. In high energy and nuclear physics, large arrays of scintillating crystals have been assembled for precision measurements of photons and electrons.

CsI based crystals have such advantages as high light output, emission well-matched to photodiodes, plasticity and resistance to cracking, large scale production and the lowest prices.

We have gained experience in developing and manufacturing scintillators designed for these applications.

We can provide you with long size (300-500 mm length), complex shape, uniform scintillation crystals for nuclear and high energy physics.
